Depart from Bangkok in the morning and drive north to Ayutthaya. Upon arrival, hop on a "Kermit" Tuk Tuk (a special type of motorized Tuk Tuk available only in Ayutthaya and Trang provinces in the South) to discover the magnificent ruins and ancient temples in the historical park. Briefly stop near the Muslim quarter and sample one of the most famous delights of Ayutthaya candy floss roti. If time permits, visit local houses to see how handicrafts such as palm leaf fish mobiles are produced. You will then enjoy Thai lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, enjoy a leisurely long-tail boat ride to Bang Pa-In Summer Palace and explore the majestic royal mansions which are usually quiet in the afternoon. Continue to Wat Niwet Thammaprawat, one of the most distinctive Buddhist temples with its remarkable Gothic style architecture and stained glass windows. Overnight in Ayutthaya.

Breakfast at hotel and proceed to Lopburi. The province has been an important part of the Khmer Empire, later a part of Ayutthaya Kingdom, and Ayutthaya's second capital under the reign of King Narai, the Great. Visit the famous for the hundreds of crab-eating macaques that overrun the Old Town, especially in the area around Phra Prang Sam Yod and Phra Kaan Shrine. Continue driving further north to Phitsanulok, lunch and visit Wat Mahathat featuring Thailand's most beautiful Buddha image Phra Putthachinnarat. Visit to Cha Tawee Folk Museum. We also include a fresh market nearby the train station for your cool snack experience, sampling various kinds of fried insects like cockroaches and grasshoppers. One of the amazing things in Thailand that you should try, even though it's unpleasant look but the taste is the challenge! After that drive to Sukhothai, a name meaning dawn of happiness, which was founded in the 13th century and became the kingdom's first capital, overseeing a period known as the golden age of Thai history. Next visit is "FAE", Friends of the Asian Elephant, where you will learn more about the living conditions of the elephants in the natural surroundings. Depart your hotel at 06.00 AM and arrive at the foot hill of Doi Suthep mountain, in time to buy offerings and join the locals during the daily alms giving ceremony. This is a serene Buddhist procession where dozens of monks walk barefoot through the street collecting food and everyday items. Continue up the mountain to Wat Doi Suthep and climb the 309 steps of the Golden Naga stair case to reach its golden pagodas. Proceed to Wat Umong, built in the 14th century, a heavily forested temple covered by moss and small plants offering a unique yet charming sense of natural decay. After a walk through its mysterious tunnels you reach the Viharn of the temple to experience your own private blessing ceremony. After, enjoy this lovely day with a delicious bowl of Khao Soy. This famous Northern Thai dish is a combination of coconut cream, crispy noodles and plenty of spice that is sure to delight! In the afternoon, head towards the Mae Ping River banks and Waroros market for a stroll among the colorful stalls. Continue by rickshaw along Tapae Road, Chiang Mai's main street. From the eastern gate, explore ancient Chiang Mai on foot, including the Three Kings Monument, the city's most important temples Wat Chedi Luang, where the famous Emerald Buddha was once enshrined, and Wat Phra Singh, home to a very old and sacred Buddha image. After breakfast at the hotel, depart from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai, and en route visit is Wat Rong Khun with its unique "kanok" architecture. Continue your visits with some of the temples of the town, Wat Phra Kaew with its beautiful brass and copper Buddha image. Lunch at a local restaurant. Drive to Mae Sai, the northernmost Thai town on the Myanmar border. Walk around the local market, and continue to visit Chiang Saen on the steep banks of Mekong River, opposite of Laos where you will see some magnificent ancient ruins and temples. Take a boat ride along the Mekong River to get a closer look at Laos and Myanmar. Stop at the Golden Triangle viewpoint for a panoramic photography of the triangle. Overnight in Chiang Rai.

Transfer out to Chiang Rai Airport to catch a flight back to Bangkok and home.

You will be met at Suvarnabhumi International Airport and transfer to the hotel by private air conditioned vehicle with your English speaking guide. After check in, the rest of the day is free on your own.

You will start out with a visit to the Grand Palace and the "Emerald Buddha Temple", Wat Phra Kaeo . Before entering the main gate to the temple of the Emerald Buddha , you can stop by the Royal Regalia Museum to see the beauty of its decorative jewelry, which used to be the ornaments of royal officers and consorts. You'll continue exploring Wat Pho , the "Reclining Buddha Temple," the oldest and biggest temple, with the largest number of pagodas (95 in all). In the afternoon, you will take a long-tailed boat along the Chao Phraya River to see Thai life. You will pass the Grand Palace and pay a brief visit to the Royal Barge Museum, which houses ceremonial King's Barges decorated with multi-colored glass, gilt and stucco. You will disembark at Wat Arun , the "Temple of Dawn", to visit the tallest prang in Thailand.

You will have free until time transfer to the airport for the flight to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival in Chiang Mai, you will be welcomed at the airport and transferred to your hotel. This afternoon, you will drive to visit Chiang Mai's famous temples: Wat Chiang Man, Wat Phra Singh and Wat Suan Dok, which has the North's largest chapel royal. The evening is free and you will stay overnight in Chiang Mai.

Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is a must visit in Chiang Mai. The temple is perched high on Doi Suthep Hill, 3,500 feet above sea level, overlooking the whole city. The repository of a sacred relic of the Lord Buddha, the temple is regarded as the holiest religious place of Chiang Mai. You will continue your visit to Phu Ping Palace and their Majesties' Winter Palace (4,000 feet above sea level). You will also visit Wat Jed Yod (AD 1455) instead if Phu Ping Palace which is closed to public. This afternoon, you will take a leisurely bicycle journey along the Ping River over quiet, narrow roads and through local fruit orchards, rice paddies and small villages. You can stop occasionally to visit temples, markets, traditional northern Thai houses and a local Thai school.

After breakfast, you will head out on an excursion to visit an elephant working site located at Ta Yaak Village, Chiang Dao District, approximately 70 km from Chiang Mai. On the way, you can observe the way of living of people who live on the outskirts of the Chiang Mai area and pass by Mae Rim, Mae Taeng and many hill tribe villages, including that of the long neck hill tribe. Upon arrival in Chiang Dao, you'll visit the elephant working camp on the banks of the Mae Ping River and then enjoy an exciting trek on an elephant around camp, through the jungle and along the river. Afterwards, you will board bamboo rafts along a very picturesque stretch of the Mea Ping River to see the beautiful scenery down the river. The rafting lasts about an hour but depends on the depth of the water and the speed of the current. You will transfer back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Chiang Mai.

Today, you will escape from the bustling city and go to the relaxing countryside and enjoy a cooking class with a local family in a local village. Upon arrival at the house, you can take a walk around the farm while the chef explains about the herbs and ingredients. Then, you'll learn to cook the first three courses you choose and have lunch with what you have prepared on the terrace. After lunch, you are free to relax after going back to the hotel.

You will start a scenic drive of around 3 hours to Chiang Mai, with stops en route for a visit to Wat Rong Khun Temple . The temple is different from any other temple in Thailand, as it has been constructed entirely in a radiant white color with sparking reflections from mirrored glass mosaics embedded in the white plaster. You will h ave lunch at a local restaurant en route . On the way, there are many opportunities for you to take photos and meet with tribal locals. Upon arrival, check-in at your resort with the remainder of the day free to explore the resort and its facilities and amenities.

In the morning, you will go on an exciting excursion to Mae Sai , a border of Thailand and Burma for a visit to Tha Chilek. After finishing formalities, you'll cross the Sai River into Tha Chilek, where you can witness local Burmese life in a nearby village. You can take a tricycle ride to explore Tha Chilek with its Shan-style temple and then ride around the town through lanes and side streets, ending at the local market, famous for products from Southern China, Laos and Burma. Afterwards, you will continue to visit the world famous Golden Triangle, where the borders of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet. You will have lunch at a local restaurant and the visit the Hall of Opium, an insightful museum focusing on the history of the Golden Triangle and the opium trade. This multi-million dollar museum in the sleepy village of Baan Sop Ruak provides an in-depth look at the history of the area's association with opium.

After breakfast at your hotel, meet with your guide and head out of your hotel for an original full day of sightseeing in the City of Angels using exclusively public means of transportation. Walk to the nearest BTS Station and get on the Skytrain for a short ride to the terminal station of Saphan Taksin on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. Continue by public boat to Tha Thien pier where you disembark to visit Wat Pho, the home of Thai massage and the reclining Buddha. Continue to visit the Grand Palace. The Royal Grand Palace is the nation's landmark and the most revered royal monument and host of the mysterious Emerald Buddha, the most revered Buddha image in Thailand. Appropriate dress is required (or can be rented on site). Then hop on a Tuk Tuk which will take you straight for your local lunch at Seven's Spoon, located within an easy walking distance of the Golden Mount aka Wat Saket, where will be the next visit after lunch. Climb up to the top of the Golden Mount presenting the breathtaking view of the old Rattanakosin Island from the old Siam. Back to the Thai Champs Elyses, Ratchadamnoen, where you'll get in a tuk tuk to reach the end of the avenue and the historical Klong (canal) Saen Saeb. Board the klong "bus-boat" and cross the city to the west. Disembark for a short walk in Ratchathewi boat station, close to the large shopping complex. Your opportunity is given for shopping in one of the 5 huge shopping complex of the area (MBK, Siam Square, Siam Center, Siam Discovery, Siam Paragon), or simply return to your hotel by BTS.

Breakfast at the hotel. Then drive just about an hour south of Bangkok to Samut Songkhram Province, offering visitors a glimpse into Thai countryside life. We will start the day with a stop at a local train station to experience a short regional train ride bounding for an amazing country market that has sprouted along the railway tracks. Here, you will witness the dexterity and speed of the vendors as they quickly pack their stalls right before 10:20 am when the train approaches; hence bringing shopping to a brief halt. It is a standard practice and stall holders have learnt the art of assembling and reassembling their wares at a moment's notice! Then we will visit Damnoen Saduak Floating market and take a long-tail boat ride through the canals and see how Thai people live alongside the labyrinth of canals in this area. Arrive at the famous Damnoen Saduak market where you can stroll around the colourful floating marketplace bustling with boats and vendors selling tropical fruits and other delights.
